Ghyll scrambling (gorge scrambling): Stickle Ghyll, Langdale

The last couple of days I’ve been getting wet – and for once, it’s out of choice, rather than as a result of the damp British summer.  I’ve had a couple of days ghyll scrambling in Stickle Ghyll for Mark over at Mountain Journeys – on Monday with family of 5 and on Tuesday with a larger group of two families together, adding up to 8 people.

There’s a fair bit of water in the ghyll at the moment, which is no surprise given all the rain; but it did make things interesting for the families but even the top waterfall was just about climbable!

A great couple of days – cheers to all and to Mark for the work.
