Rock Climbing & Abseiling in the Bank Holiday sunshine

Yesterday we had two teams out in the beautiful Bank Holiday sunshine: Danni & Josh from London, and Daniel and his girlfriend, also from London (apparently only a few miles from each other!).

Our instructor Mark took both couples to Lower Scout Crag in Great Langdale for a morning of rock climbing. The crag was quiet when the team arrived but it soon became busy however the atmosphere was friendly, sociable and the views fantastic. Everyone had a great morning climbing several of the lines on Scout Crag and also ticking a few problems on the boulders around the crag.

Danni and Josh had booked a multi-activity day with us and had chosen abseiling for their afternoon session, so Mark took them over to Hodge Close for more sunshine and adventure. Both Danni and Josh did really well and had a great time abseiling down into this amazing slate quarry. Don the dog also enjoyed the day and enjoyed lot of attention!

Thanks to everyone and especially to Mark for running the day for us.
