A few weeks ago, we took an enquiry asking whether we had any guides with experience of working with the visually impaired. There can’t be many companies that can answer yes to this question, but we could and today we took out a couple from Surrey on a guided walk in the Lake District.
Larraine and Clive joined our guides Dave, Ruth and Zebedee the dog for a walk from Brockhole near Windermere, up onto Wansfell Pike via Town End, Troutbeck and Nanny Lane. Returning via Ambleside and Jenkin Crag. A good 9 miles was covered – a great effort by Larraine and Clive. Well done folks and a big thanks to Dave and Ruth for running the day for us.
