Multi-activity day: gorge, canyon

Two teams out today… team 1 were out for a double hitter of gorge scrambling and canyoning. Stickle Ghyll however was dangerous at best today, with overnight rain meaning the beck was in spate conditions. So over to Coniston we went, where challenging water levels didn’t deter us but certainly made things more spicy than normal!

Team 2 were over at Cathedral Quarry enjoying some of the best abseiling on offer in the Lakes, followed by an explore of the caverns and a trip to more caverns at Hodge Close on their way back to the car. Cheers to Francis for running this one for us.
