Winter skills course: wild on Helvellyn

Wild conditions for Josh’s 1:1 winter skills course. Gusting 70mph, whiteout, blizzards and loads of deep powder and slab. All good character building winter fun though as we headed out in the wintery Helvellyn range to look at core skills, such as how to move in snow and on ice, how to safeguard ourselves with an axe and how to use crampons,¬†plus¬†other fun stuff like how to dig emergency shelters and how to avoid getting avalanched!
