Technical scrambling skills on an exposed ridge

At Lakeland Ascents we run bespoke and tailored courses that are designed to be unique to you as a scrambler and mountaineer. This means that we can focus on your ambitions and the skills that you want to develop, as opposed to a generic syllabus.

Whether you are an experienced walker looking to get onto Grade 1 ridges and buttresses, or whether you are a more experienced scrambler or mountaineer looking to learn the technical rope-work skills to safely break into Grade 2 and 3+ ground. We can help.

An overview of the scrambling courses & mountaineering courses that we offer follows. Please click the links for more information and prices. Don’t forget, course content is a just a blueprint of what we can include and therefore your actual course will be unique to you.

We run courses from the the Lake District and Snowdonia. For courses in Scotland, please see Highland Ascents.

Finally, if you can’t find what you are looking for then please make sure you let us know. Our instructors will tailor an instructional session for you – get in touch to find out more.
