Yesterday we were delighted to welcome back Saj and friends for another great multi-activity day in the Lakes. Saj joined us last year for an abseil at Hodge Close and a gorge scramble in the classic Church Beck. We obviously didn’t put them off and were happy to welcome the chaps back to continue their exploration of the Lakes.
Mark took the team over to Cathedral Quarry to try their hands on the big abseil – a ‘mere’ 160ft drop! Despite 2 of the team having never abseiled before, everyone got over the edge and professionally abseiled to the bottom.
After a morning at Cathedral, Mark took Saj and friends over to Langdale to play in the cool waters of Stickle Ghyll. Despite it being March, everyone got really stuck in and enjoyed the challenge of the ghyll.
Cheers Saj and co – great to have you back with us. We hope to see you guys again in the summer.
Cheers also to Mark for running a great session.
