This weekend, 6 colleagues from the Midcounties Coopeartive joined us to take on the epic Lake District 24 Peak Challenge.
An awesome effort put in by all on day 1: 13 hours of walking from Buttermere across the Scafell range to Langdale. A big cheers to Neil for guiding the group for us.
Day 2 saw the team diminish to 3 for another 18 mile hike, this time across the Helvellyn range from Red Screes to Great Dodd. The team diminished again though, to just 1 by Fairfield, but a massive well done to the others for getting this far.
The heroine of the weekend though was our friend Jo, who battled through, fueled by high spirits, to make it to the end.
24 peaks, 24 hours of walking, a good 37 miles of Lakeland Fells. Well done!!!
