We’re up in Scotland at the moment enjoying the last of winter (although I suspect it’s going to be around for a while longer yet!).
Today we were up in the Corries of Stob Coire nan Lochan running a 1:1 Winter Skills course for Stephen.
We headed up to the snowline (around 800m) where we looked at basic movement skills, crampon skills, ice axe arrest and movement, as well as step cutting and a lot of theory around avalanche awareness and avoidance.
A great day in lovely spring Scottish conditions.
